What do Europeans really think about immigration – and why does it matter for Europe’s future?

Join CEPS on 14 October for a discussion of What Europeans Think About Immigration and Why It Matters (Oxford University Press, 2026). Co-authors James Dennison and Andrew Geddes will present findings drawn from decades of survey data, exploring how Europeans view immigration and what shapes those attitudes.

A panel discussion will consider what public opinion means for EU migration policy after the Pact and the Return Regulation, and how policymakers, politicians, and civil society can communicate about migration.
